The world of digital parenting in a todays world presents us with many challenges. What we face is a world that is dynamic, fast paced, ever changing and very often unknown. As parents, this can leave us feeling fearful and powerless. We need to remember however, that we play a crucial role. We need to take the time to understand the technology, empathise with the challenges our children face and be empowered to help make the best decisions for our families. The only way we can do this is by being informed and educated as to what is out there and take the time to understand what it means to grow up in a digital world.
I have had a fabulous year getting out amongst parents, students and teachers all over Australia this past year and sharing what I believe is crucial information to help todays young people. I certainly intend to do much more of the same in 2017.
